Ar. Ooi Bok Kim graduated from the National Cheng Kung University in Tainan, Taiwan and the Welsh School of Architecture, University of Wales in the United Kingdom. Currently based in Penang, Ar Ooi now practices as a Conservation Architect, providing consultation services for the restoration of historic heritage buildings, as well as for other culture, heritage preservation and developmental work. A member of several professional bodies, he also engages in several non-profit organizations. Previous career contributions include being part of the team which prepared the dossier document for the submission of George Town to be inscribed as a World Heritage Site to UNESCO.
